Unable to Create a Scenario

Problem

I am trying to create a Scenario but I’m unable to do so. I’ve clicked the “Create” button but then the screen to create a Scenario does not appear:

Solution

Check the following suggestions in order:

1. Navigate to the Catalogs tab and search for the “Script Directory Item” Catalog. If it doesn’t exist, follow these steps to create one:

   1. Click “Create”

   2. Click “Create a New Catalog”

   3. Under “Select a Type”, start typing Script Directory Item and then choose it from the list:
      
      

       

   4. Name the Catalog - Script Directory Item

   5. Click “Create”

You will now see the Catalog in the list:

You will now be able to create a Scenario:

This issue may occur when:

• The Script Directory Item Catalog is deleted; or

• When a Project is created if you choose “Auto Generate Default Catalogs”.
