Learner Groups (Launch Component)

The examples in this article were created for a fictional company, Lakeview Inc.

 

 

Definition

A group of learners that can be quickly added to other areas of the Motive Platform, instead of adding learners all individually.

 

Anatomy

 

To Access Learner Groups:

1. In Launch, choose your Organization if more than one

2. Click "Learner Groups"

 

Learner Groups Actions:

3. The name you've given the Learner Group

4. Edit the Learner Group

5. Remove the Learner Group

6. Create a new Learner Group

Create a Learner Group

  1. Give the group a descriptive name

  2. Choose a color (optional)

  3. "Submit":

  1. Click on the edit icon (#4 in Anatomy above)

  2. Click on "Add"

  3. Choose the learners that are in this group

  4. Click "Add":

You will now see the learners that are part of this group:

Once you've created your groups you will see opportunities to use them. For example, if I create a learning Module and want to add Learner Groups, then within the Module where you would add learners you can simply add the group instead:
