About Manage Organization
Any user that will be using parts of the Motive Platform (Storyflow, Launch), will need to have a user profile created in Manage Organization.
Access Manage Organization
1. Login to Motive
You should be viewing the HUB area that displays the areas you have permissions to access. This can include Launch, Storyflow and Manage Organization. In the example below, we are logged into the account for the company Lakeview Inc. and the individual accessing HUB has permissions for all three areas:
Note: If you do not see an image similar to the above, click on your initials on the top right of the screen and choose HUB.
2. Choose Manage Organization
New to Hub
Here is a typical flow you will follow when you are creating new training. You can see the addition of learners takes place in Manage Organization, accessed from Motive Hub.
Permissions
Only individuals with the Identity Organization Admin permission can see and manage organization settings. There is no member level permission. For more information on Permissions, click here.
Manage Organization Categories
On the left side of the screen under the icon with the three horizontal bars, you will find the different areas of the Manage Organization area. See below for a description of each section.
Users
There are two areas under this heading - Organization and Teams.
Organization
The Organization area lists all of the users that have been added to your Organization. Any user that you want to be able to perform admin functions, author Storyflow training, or complete the training as a learner is added here. Then you assign permissions to that user. For information on adding users, click here.
Team
If you have invited individuals outside of your Organization and given access to your account (eg. contracting out VR Editing work), they would be listed here under Team Members. In the above example, you can see that all Organization Members from the Lakeview Inc. org are listed, as well as individuals from the org Motive.
Client Credentials
This area is typically used by Motive customers that are building their own APKs. New credentials can be created by clicking the Add New option. Then you will see credential information listed:
This information could potentially be configured in an app config to address issues like removing device authentication. These credentials could be used for either Storyflow or Launch. To learn more on this topic, click here.
Login Providers
There are two options for Login Providers: Local login and OIDC.
Local Login: This is the option that is predominantly used. This requires an email and password to login.
OIDC: This provides the single-sign (SSO) on capability. So if you have an instance on your network or your private cloud, then you can set up SSO. An IT Admin would have the necessary information to set this up in Manage Organization.
Data Usage
This area provides information on the number of sessions used.
