About Manage Organization

Motive-wide administration is performed in the Manage Organization space.

Any user that will be using parts of the Motive Platform (Storyflow, Launch), will need to have a user profile created in Manage Organization.

Permissions

Only individuals with the Identity Organization Admin permission can see and manage organization settings. There is no member-level permission. For more information on Permissions, click here.

Access Manage Organization

  1. Login at https://cloud.motive.io/

  2. Click on “Administration”

Alternatively, if you are already logged into the Motive platform, click on your initial at the top right of the page and choose “Hub”. Then choose “Administration”.

  1. Once you are in this area, choose your Organization by clicking the arrow dropdown at the top left:

A. Organization Name: You will have at least one (most common) and can have more than one Organization. If you do have access to multiple Organizations, there is the ability to manage the settings unique to each Organization. You can change the Organization you are viewing/editing by clicking on the drop down arrow to the right of the Organization’s name.

B. Organizations: The Organization area lists all of the users that have been added to your Organization. Any user that you want to be able to perform admin functions, author Storyflow training, or complete the training as a learner is added here. Then you assign permissions to that user.

C. Team: If you have invited individuals outside of your Organization and given access to your account (eg. contracting out VR Editing work), they would be listed here under Team Members.

D. Groups: Also refered to as Learner Groups. A group of learners that can be quickly added to other areas of the Motive Platform, instead of adding learners all individually.

E. Client Credentials: This area is typically used by Motive customers that are building their own APKs. New credentials can be created by clicking the “Add New” option. Then you will see credential information listed. This information could potentially be configured in an app config to address issues like removing device authentication. These credentials could be used for either Storyflow or Launch. To learn more on this topic, click here.

F. Login Providers: There are two options for Login Providers: Local login and OIDC.
Local Login: This requires an email and password to login.
OIDC: This provides the single-sign (SSO) on capability. So if you have an instance on your network or your private cloud, then you can set up SSO. An IT Admin would have the necessary information to set this up in Manage Organization. This option allows enterprises to use their existing systems to authenticate users. This is often the preferred option of our enterprise clients. These can be set and configured in Motive Hub where an organization, users and roles are all managed.

G. Data Usage: This area provides information on the number of sessions used.

H. Plugins:

I. Settings: The area where you can set up Two Factor Authentication 2FA.
