You’ve spoken through our surveys and we’ve listened! Over the past year we’ve been collecting feedback on our Author Certification course and we’ve released a revamped course.

Changes as of September 24, 2023

Here are the changes

• Jump into scripting. The Learn courses now include scripting in Storyflow with the instructor. We want to get you hands on as soon as possible.

• Choose your learning path. We’ve expanded all lessons that have a video lesson to include a written lesson. Learners can choose how they want to consume the content.

• Condensed learning path. The written lessons have the same content as the video, but they are as condensed as possible to allow learners that move quickly to advance at their own speed. There are notations of the video timestamp in case a deeper review is needed.

• Expanded VR Authoring Best Practices. We’ve incorporated best practices for authoring in VR along side of scripting in Storyflow. We want all authors to understand how to build the most engaging content.

Considerations for Learners that started Author Certification prior to September 24, 2023

While a considerable amount of content is the same between the versions, lessons have been moved around. If you have started the Author Certification prior to September 24, 2023 but haven’t completed it and wonder how to proceed we can help!
