Positional Anchors allow you to place specific items around the scene at the position of your choice.  It can be helpful to have them in a Catalog.  To learn more about why Positional Anchors are valuable, click here.

Create a Catalog

(If there isn’t one created)

1. Open Catalogs tab at the top of the page

2. Click Create

3. Open the dropdown Select a Type

4. Select Named Positional Anchor
   Start typing in what you are searching for and then choose it.

5. Name the Catalog

6. Click Create

Add New Positional Anchors to Catalog

1. Open the Catalog where you want to save the Positional Anchor

2. Click +
   This will create a new, empty item.

3. Open the item created

4. Name the Positional Anchor

5. In the dropdown for Fixed Position, enter the coordinates

6. Save

Instead of manually entering in the coordinates for a Positional Anchor, use the VR Editor to place the anchor in the scene!
