About Launch Permissions
Launch has two layers of Permissions: Organization and Space level permissions.
As a company, you can have one instance of Launch. Within that instance, you can have several Organizations (though this may not be typical) and within each Organization you can have distinct Spaces. User membership and permissions for the Organization and Space levels can be assigned and controlled by individuals with the Launch Organization Admin permission.
Granting Launch Permissions
There are specific steps in granting Launch Permissions as outlined below:
Step I: Add Users to Organization in Manage Organization (if not done already)
Before you can grant permissions to individuals, they must be added as Users within the Organization. Follow the steps here.
Step II: Give Launch Organization permissions for Users in Manage Organization
About Launch Organization Permissions
Launch Organization permissions are quite granular. There are three types of Launch Organization permissions:
Permission Name | Definition |
---|---|
Launch Organization Admin | An administrator of the Launch service. They are able to manage and assign roles for spaces within Launch. |
Launch Organization Member | Gives the user the ability to access Launch and be added to spaces to configure and monitor training content. |
Launch Learner | A learner in the organization. They are able to view and start only their own training content. |
The specifics for each permission are broken down as follows:
