The examples in this article were created for a fictional company, Lakeview Inc.

For an overview of Launch, click here.

As a company, you have one instance of Launch. Within that instance, you can have several organizations (though this may not be typical) and within each organization, you can have distinct spaces. Organizations could represent different business units, training teams, or departments in a company. Many companies will only have one organization.

  1. Login to Motive

You should be viewing the HUB area that displays the areas you have permissions to access. This can include Launch, Storyflow and Manage Organization. In the example below, we are logged into the account for the company Lakeview Inc. and the individual accessing HUB has permissions for all three areas:

Note: If you do not see an image similar to the above, click on your initials on the top right of the screen and choose HUB.

2. Select Launch

The first time you open Launch you’ll see a screen like this:

The first thing a user with the permission Launch Organization Admin must do is set up a Launch Space.

3. In the left column, click Admin

4. Go to Manage Organizations

5. Click Create

6. Give the Space a title (in this example I used Lakeview Inc.)

7. Click Create

Your Space will now appear in the list underneath the Organization:

When you navigate back to Spaces, you’ll see your organization and space in the list:

Click on the arrow to see all the Launch categories for this space:
