Often you will want to target Playables and other content at a virtual screen (like a laptop or tablet). This can be done with a Playable Screen. Generally you will want to configure the Screen as its own Scene Object attached to the monitor, tablet, etc. This allows you to target the object with content separately from the screen.
Playable Screen is attached to the monitor. The screen is named “Monitor Screen” and the monitor is simply named “Monitor.”
Adding the Screen
Playable Screen comes in two flavors: Landscape and Portrait. Once you’ve chosen the correct Prefab, attach it to the Game Object:
Adjust the position and rotation so that it’s square with the screen surface
Choose a scale for the top-level prefab that looks right for the font. Note that the scale factor should be the same for each axis, otherwise images, etc., will be distorted. You will adjust the screen size in the next step.
Adjust the size of the Screen Canvas node to match the virtual screen.
