Definition

Content is your Storyflow Scenario in a published form that is then converted into a Module.

Before you can create a Module, Content must be published to Launch by one of two ways:

  1. Deploy the Content within Storyflow

  2. Manually upload Content into Launch

To Access Content:

1. Choose the Organization , if there is more than one

2. Choose the Launch Space

3. Click “Content Management”

4. Click “Content”

Content Actions:

5. Refresh the Content list if any changes are made

6. Create Content

7. Search for specific Bundled Content

8. Download Bundled Content

9. Delete Bundled Content

10. Storyflow Connections – Content Area will display all Content that was added to Launch via the Storyflow Connections method

Bundle Types

Upload Bundle: In Storyflow you can download a published version of the training via project bundle in a .zip file at the Bundles tab. This content is static once bundled and will not change. This is the most stable way to distribute completed content.

External Bundle: This is the same outcome as the Upload Bundle option, but if you have an on-premise version of Storyflow, and you have a network location where you want to put the bundle, then use this option.

Deploy Bundle Content

Only individuals with the Launch Admin or Member permissions can complete these steps

1. Login to Motive, or switch from Hub or Launch to Storyflow by clicking on your initial in the top right corner and selecting “Storyflow”

You should be viewing the HUB area that displays the areas you have permissions to access. This can include Launch, Storyflow and Manage Organization. In the example below, we are logged into the account for the company Lakeview Inc. and the individual accessing HUB has permissions for all three areas:

2. Open Storyflow

3. Open the appropriate Storyflow Project you want learners to complete

34. Ensure the Scenario has a status of Published:

4. Go to Bundles tab

5. Under Publishing, name the Bundle

6. Click Publish

7. Under Bundles, click the ellipsis and Download:

8. Navigate to Launch by clicking on your initial in the top right hand corner.

9. Open the appropriate Organization and Space

10. Go to Content

11. Click Create Content

12. Choose Upload Bundle

13. Choose File

14. Choose the file from your computer

15. Click Upload

You will then you want to create a Module from is in “Published” status, not Draft:

5. Go to the “Bundles” tab

6. Name your Bundle and click “Publish”

7. Click on the elipses to the right of the Bundle and choose “Deploy”:

8. Click on your Initials at the top right of Storyflow and choose “Launch”

9. On the left side of the Launch page, open your Launch Space (typically named after your company) → Content Managment →Content. Here you will see the new content displayed:
