Within Storyflow you have the ability to add new content from your computer or use content already in your Media Library in Motive.

Add Media to a Catalog

If you have content in your Media area, you cannot use it in Storyflow until it’s added to a Catalog.

  1. Find the appropriate Catalog with Named Positional Anchor Type

  2. Open Catalog

  3. Click + to Create a Named Positional Anchor

  4. Add a Title

  5. Choose Fixed or Relative Position from the dropdown

  6. Click on + to manually enter coordinates OR use the VR Editor to set a positional anchor within the headset

  7. Save

Bring a Unity Scene Object or Anchor into Storyflow

  1. Create the Object in Unity and give it a name

  2. In Storyflow, select the Catalogs tab at the top of the screen

  3. If you do not have a Named Anchor/Object Catalog already, select Create > Create a new Catalog > Select Type > (Choose correct type) > (Type a name) > Create

Ensure you create the correct type of Catalog for the item you are adding to Storyflow

  1. Open your Catalog then select + > open item > (Type in name of the object/anchor) > Save

Note

The name you give the item in Storyflow must exactly match the name in Unity
