What if I can’t see the Notfication in the Headset unless I look to the side/elsewhere in the Environment?

If no Anchor is assigned, a Notification will appear a certain distance in front of the user and stay locked to their field of few for a few seconds. This can lead to a situation with objects in the environment where you can’t see the Notification (but it can be helpful in the right circumstance.)

To address this you can:

  • Change the location of a Notification. You can assign an anchor to the Notification Resource so it appears in a specific location instead of being locked to the field of view of the user.

  • An Assembler can add colliders to the object via the SDK, then you should see the Notification.
