Overview
The Equip object The Equip object interaction emits an event once the learner takes a specified object onto a target. The target must be an object that is specified in an Equip Target resourcean Equip Target resource.
An example of how the Equip object the Equip object interaction could be used is when the learner needs to equip different types of PPE (personal protective equipment, i.e. mask, gown) or safety equipment before progressing through the scenario. Once the learner equips the correct objects, the scenario progresses.

Example in the Headset
Here is a simple example of the Equip Resource. In the Workshop environment, I'd like Motive Lab, the learner to put on a safety hatneeds to don their Nitrile Gloves before entering the lab area.
Add the Safety Hat Object and the Equip Target (Head) into a frame:

Drag and drop the Equip Resource into the Resources pane of the frame
Choose the World Object (Safety Hat) and the Equip Target (Head) from the respective dropdowns
Choose “Text” from the Prompts area and add a prompt to give the learner instructions (optional):

In this example, I've added a Notification to play after the learner equips the hat to let them know the task was successfully completed:

to a frame. In this case, because the target are hands, both the left hand and the right hand need to be added as targets:

Add the Equip Resource to the frame, in this case I’ve added it twice - one for each hand:
