Step 1: Publish Scenario into a Bundle

Permission Needed: Storyflow Organization Member or Admin

  • Open the Storyflow Project you want to create a training Module for

  • Open the Scenario you want to deliver training on

  • Change the status of the Scenario to "Published"

  • Repeat for any other Scenarios, if needed

  • Go to the "Bundles" tab

  • Give the Bundle a name

  • Publish the Bundle

  • Download the Bundle to your computer

Step 2: Create Content from Bundle

Permission Needed: Launch Organization Member or Admin

  • Open the Launch

  • Choose the Launch Space from the dropdown at the top left

  • Go to the "Content" area

  • Choose the way you will be uploading content. In this example, it is "Upload Bundle"

  • Click "Create Content"

  • Choose "Upload Bundle"

  • Choose "File"

  • Choose the file from your computer that you downloaded in Step 1

  • You will see the content displayed

Step 3: Create a Module from the Content

Permission Needed: Launch Organization Member or Admin

  • In the Launch, go to the "Module" area

  • Choose "Create Module"

  • Give the Module a Title

  • Choose the Bundle you added in the Step 2

  • For "LRS Communication Method" leave the default - "Communicate with an LRS via Launch"

  • Click "Create"

  • You will then see the Module listed

Step 4: Review/Add Learners

Note: This step can be completed at any time, but must be done before the learner launches training

Permission Needed: Identity Organization Admin permission

  • Open Manage Organization by clicking on "Administration" in Hub menu

  • Choose the "Organization" area

  • Choose "Add New"

  • Enter the email into the email field and first/last name

  • Click "Invite"

  • You will now see the Learner added to the Organization Members list

  • Click the edit icon to the right of the learner’s name

  • Click the dropdown under Roles

  • Choose LAUNCH_LEARNER from the list

  • Click "Submit"

  • Repeat as needed until all learners are added

Alternatively - you can import a .csv of learners and then give them the Launch_Learner permission. See attached .csv template in the Materials section at the top of this lesson.

Step 5: Provision Devices

Note: This step can be completed at any time, but must be done before the learner launches training

Permission Needed: Launch Organization Member or Admin

  • Have ready the first headset that the Learner(s) will use for training

  • Open the Launch

  • Choose "Devices" area at the bottom of the Launch list menu

  • Choose "Provision New Device" and notice there is a "User Code" field

  • Open the APK on the headset

  • On the "Device Authentication" screen, click "Connect"

  • Note the Authentication Number

  • Go back to the Launch

  • Enter the Authentication Number from the headset in the "User Code" field in the Launch

  • Click "Submit"

  • Refresh to see a new device added in Devices list

  • Suggested: Click the Edit icon in the "Name" column to give a descriptive name for this particular device

  • Repeat for all devices that will be used for training. Note this provisioning is only done once.

Step 6: Create Launch Codes

Permission Needed: Launch Organization Member or Admin

  • Open the Launch

  • Choose "Launchers" area

  • Choose "Create Launcher"

  • Click the dropdown next to the Launch Config and choose the Module

  • Click the dropdown next to the Learner and choose the learner you want to generate the code for

  • Click "Create"

  • You will now see the Launcher for the specific Learner in the list

  • Repeat for all the Learners

Step 7: Learner Completes the Training

  • The Learner launches scenario in the headset

  • The Learner enters their six digit launch code created for them in Step 6

  • The Learner completes the training

Step 8: View Session Data

Permission Needed: Launch Organization Member or Admin

  • Open the Launch

  • Choose "Insights" area and then view the tabs underneath to see the Session Data
